CyberTexas 2016  – Developing the Cyber Generation and Protecting Critical Resources

SitScape CEO Kevin Yin will join a group of speakers and technology innovators at CyberTexas 2016 with the featured speakers include Congressman Will Hurd (R-TX), Air Force BG Mitchel H. Butikofer, San Antonio Mayor Ivy R. Taylor, NIST Director Rodney Peterson, and many other cyber leaders from government, industry and academia.  CyberTexas was established to provide expanded access to security developments and resources located in Texas, as well as to provide an ongoing platform for the education and skill development of cyber professionals & job creation and build strong relationships with other U.S. and International geographies focused on cyber ecosystem development.

CyberTexas will be held August 23-24, 2016 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio.  The conference is sponsored by The San Antonio Public-Private Cyber Community and the Federal Business Council (FBC) in conjunction with leaders from federal and local government agencies, industry and academia.  Additional sessions will be provided by NIST addressing the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE), including an interactive session on the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) Use-Case Development and Progress.  Additional topics include Cyber Innovation, Cyber Education, Insider Threat, and Acquisition and Business Development in the Cyber community.
