A dashboard page can contain any number of widgets or content items, coming from any of your backend applications, hard drives or the Web – all easily componentized and assembled together using SitScape’s software. Once assembled, users can access their dashboards using any Web browser or smart phone without the need to install or download anything.


Companies and organizations using SitScape’s products can easily re-brand the software with their own logo and slogan with their own URL.

Creating or adding a component for a dashboard page is as simple as either moving your mouse over an existing object such as an image, a video, a flash or a widget on a Web page and click on the “Post” button; or simply dragging and drawing a box on any Web application or Web page to created live widget on-demand.


Users can also write rich-text notes, or upload any files or documents from their hard-drives to automatically create a widget to be part of the dashboard. They can also copy and paste image URLs or embedded code of video or widget from other sites and have them show up as part of any dashboard pages they have the write permission.

All the posted items are easily viewable in the SitScape’s blog-view in addition to the dashboard view. Users can view them by tags/topics, based on who posted or search them using free text. They can also view the item in-place, be it static or dynamic item. Users can have discussion on each posted item, and share with friends or colleagues or anyone with an email address. Users can also edit the item to assign it to different dashboard pages or working groups.

Users can create working groups, invited colleagues to be part of any working group; share items to a set of working groups. They can also be friends of each other or follow other’s public posts and activities.


Users can send messages to each other. The system can also send activity messages and feeds to the users as well. They can also choose to receive messages via email as well. All those can be configured by end-users.
